Are you a master of events and AV, but tired of the unpredictable hours?
We are on the hunt for a Warehouse Manager for our workshop in Queenstown.
In this role, you will be the lead for all warehouse operations, leading our crew and keeping our vehicles running smoothly. Ensuring that our events are prepped and ready to roll out like a well-oiled machine.
You will also be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a diverse range of equipment, from lights to LED panels, and audio gear.
Key skills we're looking for:- A clean, full license with the ability to drive manual, and preferably class two vehicles.
- Background in live events or AV
- Background in repairs or maintenance.
While each event presents its unique challenges, you will find stability in the fact that our warehouse predominantly operates from Monday to Friday, providing a work schedule that offers a balance between work and personal life.
Although there may be opportunities for on-site involvement, your main duty will be to maximise team efficiency and performance within the warehouse setting. -
This opportunity will excite an experienced event technician looking for their next challenge immersed in the beautiful Queenstown, NZ
We are looking for someone to take the lead of our lighting department, working with our Managing Director (who is also from a lighting background) to design and deliver the epic events Queenstown has to offer. This will include music events (like Rhythm and Alps, Snow Machine, etc) to corporate gala dinner and events, often in unique venues which we have the opportunity to transform into the immersive environments TomTom is known for.
For this role you must have experience in systems and onsite delivery across either business events (conferencing & galas) or live entertainment as either a console operator or as a systems technician. Bonus points for experience in lighting design.
The role will be 120+ hours a month (30+ hours a week) and will include a variety of shifts through out the week including weekends and some evenings.
Not currently in Queenstown? We welcome anyone around New Zealand to apply, although the role does take place in Queenstown so you will need to be willing to move to Queenstown for the position.
Your typical week at work will include a mixture of;- client meeting, concepts & design
- Preparing quotes where appropriate
- Creating system paperwork & plots (preferably WYSIWYG)
- Overseeing department inventory and logistics ( alongside logistics team)
- On-site build and delivery
- Operator or systems technician (either GrandMA or Hog4)
- Training of junior technicians
The role is Queenstown focused but will require an amount of travel on a show by show basis.

The primary purpose of the Video Technician role will be to configure, operate and troubleshoot all of our video control systems and from time to time create content for the various client projects.The ideal applicant would have a vast knowledge and experience of video control systems in live shows and conferences.
The role will see you working in almost every venue in Queenstown, from the top of the mountains to across the Lakes District.
You'll be working on a massive variety of shows, like working the live stream on a conference, creating bespoke content for galas dinners and local community events, and running LED screens and cameras for Queenstown's coolest festivals.
Technicians may also connect with clients, prepare quotes, and oversee event through to completion, from the initial idea to the delivery of the event.
Key skills we're looking for- Conferencing - AV set up, presentations, client interface
- LED Screens - set up, content creation, VJing, systems and control
- Live Streaming - set up, schematics, CCU, camera operation and direction
- Projection - set up, content creation, blending, projector mapping
