One of our favourite local businesses to collaborate with is Mountain Club in Queenstown. Their events always have a strong sense of connection, creativity, and community, so when they asked us to help transform their space for a winter celebration, we knew it was going to be a memorable night.

The theme was to highlight all things enchanted, exporting people inside into a mystical space where they were greeted to tarot readings, foliage, violinist performances. We created an immersive hazy scene using a mix of our Chauvet LED festoons to bring warmth and sparkle, Martin Sceptron 20 lights to add texture and shape, and moving heads like our Ayrton Diablos to give the room an ever-changing energy. These lighting elements were carefully designed to highlight the performers, making them the focal point, while still ensuring the whole space felt alive and engaging from start to finish.

Sound was just as important as the visuals. To match the intimate yet lively setting, we provided our high-quality slimline DJ sound system. This sleek setup delivered big, clear sound without overwhelming the room. Paired with our electronic Pioneer DJ deck system, they gave the DJ seamless control over the music, keeping the beats flowing smoothly and the atmosphere buzzing all night.

The combination of lighting, sound, and Mountain Club’s warm hospitality created a night where members could truly immerse themselves in the experience. It was one of those evenings that reminded us why we love doing what we do – bringing people together in spaces that feel unique, inspiring, and just a little bit magical.

We’re already looking forward to the next Mountain Club event where we will collaborate at an even higher level with the creative direction and event production.
